Don’t forget the DICKENSIAN COFFEE MORNING. Hosted by the Broadstairs Dickens Fellowship and Bleak House. Come and join us for a friendly chat at the delightful Havisham & Cratchit tea room in Bleak House. This is a regular event, every second Thursday of the month starting at 10:00am.
Tuesday October 6th, starting at 7pm at Bleak House. We will welcome Carolyn Lambert from the Gaskell Society who will be talking about the sometimes fraught relationship between Mrs Gaskell and Charles Dickens. Guests are welcome.
Our Branch AGM is on Tuesday 3rd November starting at 7pm at Bleak House. This is meeting is members only.
Tuesday December 1st, starting at 7pm at Bleak House. This is our Christmas social meeting with fun and games, mince pies and a welcome return by novelist Annie Elliot who will present a further eading from her book. Guests are welcome.
