Our next meeting will be in Nuckells Gardens at 3pm on the 4th September. There will be a performance of the Election for Pickwick Papers by the Declaimers and there will be some refreshement to keep you cool.
The TV programme Great Coastal Railway Journeys by Michael Portillo features his visit to Broadstairs. Of particular interest is his performance of a passage from David Copperfield alongside Dickens Declaimers Val and Alan at the Dickens House Museum. The programme is available on BBC iPlayer.
